The story begins with the first generation and the love triangle between sisters, Virginia (Susan Roces) and Margaret (Helen Gamboa) with Joseph (Eddie Gutierrez). Virginia, has given up everything for her younger sister Margaret even her own education and her once great love Joseph, but despite all angst, Virginia has kept mum on her sisters behalf, and as for Margaret she wants to become a rich scheming owner of her own wine business, and become a business woman to start her own wine vineyard and be at the top of her class but despite all Margaret's attempts she has become very attemptive to rise to the top. As for the second generation of lovers, Margaret's son Marco (Richard Gomez) falls in love with barrio-lass Emily Cardenas (Dawn Zulueta) who he has grown smitten of, Marco is set to marry Jane Bonifacio, (Rita Avila) but in his heart he truly loves Emily in a unexpected scene of events heartache comes into the picture, and pain and suffering when Emily and Marco's love is attempted to be stopped by Margaret, Emily sends herself off to Manila, and returns a favor to Marco but as she heads off to Manila her father and her are unexpectedly sent to court for stealing money from the land owners, Emily decides to take her self to Jail on her own terms, she decides to give up her love for Marco, and even loses her baby while giving birth, Marco and Jane marry, but Emily decides to take back what was rightfully hers. As for the present generation comes a love story between Daniel Cruz (Coco Martin) and Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes) but when the Montenegro clan comes back in there hometown Olivarez, the two find a secret infinity ring that will recite a promise between the two but will there love be at all odds when Nathaniel, (Paulo Avelino) and Johanna, (Melissa Ricks) come into the picture? In the end will love be all they need to seclude past heartaches?
